HERE IS A TIP I USE in ORDERING PRINTS; Buy just a print and it is easy and affordable to use a clear acrylic frame. They come in standard sizes to fit and are inexpensive see-through boxes All you have to do is drop the print in the box. I use them for framing the prints that I buy here.

I have always been interested in color, line, and form from an early first-grade piece, an ice cream carton that I painted for the NC Art Museum in 1948. I also have ceramic work in the NC Art Museum, acquired by R. J. Reynolds, and in other corporate and private collections. My interest is in verbal art, as well as the visual. My driving force is to understand how diverse media and genres come together�and to appreciate those parallels and overlaps.

My poetry book It Comes To Me Loosely Woven was published in 2007 by Press 53, an independent press in Winston-Salem. My visual input for it was designing the typeface used in the title. My poems, paintings, and photographs have been published in journals and anthologies, such as Southern Women�s Review, Shape of a Box, Eclectica, Agua Terra, Whole Terrain, Sage of Consciousness, The Binnacle, and Ascent Aspirations. I have also received awards from Mad Hatters Review, Still in the Stream, and Tattoo Highway.
